Meet Dr. Anita Myers

Dr. Anita Myers became interested in dentistry when she was just fourteen years old. Due to a rare dental condition, she underwent extensive treatment and experienced true dental rehabilitation firsthand. That experience paved the way for a life-long passion to provide for others what had been given to her: a beautiful, healthy, confident smile.
Dr. Myers earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in 1980 and then graduated from the University of Texas Dental School in Houston in 1983. She is strongly committed to Continuing Education and exceeds the state’s requirements for it every year. Dr. Myers is also a “Pankey Scholar” at the prestigious Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Miami, Florida, where she also serves on the Board of Advisors. As a visiting faculty member at the Pankey Institute, Dr. Myers facilitates a 4-day curriculum devoted to comprehensive dental care, including treatment for jaw joint disorders.
In addition to her affiliations with the Pankey Institute, Dr. Myers is a member of several professional dental organizations and has participated in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry’s “Give Back a Smile” program, in which former victims of domestic abuse can regain their smiles following trauma or neglect.
Anita’s blended family includes her husband Brooks, who shares her love for traveling and gourmet cooking; her sons, Blaine and Reid; and her stepdaughters, Ashley and Heather. Another member of their household is Dr. Myers’ 89 year-old mother, Ada, who still shops, cooks, and cares for her poodle.
Dr. Myers has spent her career treating patients as if they, too, were members of her family. Her goal is to enhance the lives of her patients by providing optimal dental care with respect and compassion.
